Remove a name from mailing lists
Many people want to know how to get off of mailing lists, how to eliminate your name from bulk mailing lists and to register to get off junk mailing lists. It is easy to register with the TPS(UK) and the Do not call register(USA), but for email spam it can sometimes be hard to get yourself removed, I would suggest purchasing a specific low cost personal email spam filter. They only cost around £20/$10 and are very effective, once installed they will remove all the spam from your inbox and automatically place it into a spam or Junk folder.
If the software does not detect specific pieces of spam, you can simply click on the problematic spam email and make the spam software aware. This will then learn for the future that this type of email is spam.
Sometimes emails which you actually want to receive will be sent into your Junk / Spam inbox and the spam filter software will remember that this email is not to be treated as spam for the future.
Its almost like artificial inelegance, at first it needs a little bit of coaching but soon it becomes very cleaver and will reduce if not remove you spam from you inbox.
