Often with mailing list servers they can report delivery rates and bounce backs, open rates, click through rates these are useful statistics to understand d how valid your email list is.
Email marketing and data needs to be carefully monitored, especially when using a mailing list server, as servers can be banned by Internet Service Providers (ISPs) if it is deemed as a spam email source.
